MUSIC video

My favorite music video is Eminem's When I'm gone.
He's singing about his real daughter, name Hailie, in this song, and this song is a little bit sad.
Her dad is writing songs and need to go, but she is trying to not let him go piling boxs in front of the door to block. She doesn't want her dad to not leave her. And also she is saying "where is mommy? I can't find her."
The first time I watched this video was when I was in America. Even I couldn't understand English very well, even this song is rap, I could catch this lyrics because of this video and he is singling with easy words.
This is not a happy video, but still I like it. It makes me think about my family.

film unit

I really liked this unit because each lessons were very interesting for me. Especially, making our own movie as a group work was very fun. Actually it took us a long time and we had some problems sometimes, but we figured out by ourself and i guess our relationship got much deeper.
And also other group's movies were great. I had a fun time watching their movies and I think each groups had done very well. I really liked their movies, so I wanted to make their movies copy and keep them.
Anyway in this unit, I learned a lot of new vocabulary. I had a good time, so I'm looking forward to learning next unit.

My Favorit Movie

My favorite movie is Pretty Woman. The director is Garry Marshall and the actor and actress are Richard Gere and Julia Roberts. It is set in Hollywood and it's a romantic comedy. The story is... there are two main characters, Lewis who are a businessman and Vivian who are a callgirl because she has no money. One day, Vivian hired by a weathly businessman for one week. That will make her life change. She gets more and more beautiful day by day so Lewis falls in love and so does ViVian. Lewis to be her escort for several business functions and their developing relationship. This is pretty much about this story.
I like this movie because it's like a Cinderella story for adults with facts of real world. And I like the scene that Vivian went shopping and got a lot of clothes and shoes with Lewis's credit card. I always feel like I want to go shopping and buy a lot of clothes like her everytime I watch this scene.
Anyway it is a good movie, so if you like romantic stories, that make you smile, cry and dream. this is the ideal and no.1!!

first semester

I had a fun time in the first semester.
Actually I had a hard time sometimes because I couldn't understand English and what I had to do though. The most difficult topic for me since the first semester started was Enviroment. I think that it's still difficult to think about nature and global warming in Japanese, but to think about enviroment and discuss with other people was good for me, becasue I was not interesting in enviroment and didn't even think about it before.
And also the useful activity was listening MD and write down what they said. It was also difficult, but it was very useful to improve my English, listeing and writing.
Like I said I had a hard time, but I think that it was a big help to improve my English.

plans for summer vacation!!

There are a lot of things that I want to do in this summer vacation.
First, I want to go back home in Nagano. I haven't seen my family for a while so I miss them.
While I stay there, I want to drive a car, too because I got a driver's lisence before I moved here, and then I couldn't drive a car in here. So I'm looking forword to going back home.
Second, I'd like to go to the fireworks festival around here. Actually we had a summer festival in Nagano, but I've really wanted to go a BIG one. So hope to go some summer festivals with my friends, that would be so fun!!
I also excited to go to see my sisters in this summer. I have two older sisters and they live in Tokyo and Saitama, so we havem't seen each other for a while. So maybe go shopping and stay at the night together.
Well so I am so excited for this summer vacation. Hope everybody have a great vacation, too.

I like the advert...

I like the advert of SoftBank on the tv. I guess everyone think that the ad is interesting and crazy. It goes like there is a family and here is so crazy. The daughter's father is a dog!! It's already crazy, isn't?? Mother and daughter are normal. And here is crazy family member again! The daughter's brother is not a japanese. I think he seems like he is American or something. and the daughter's uncle is not even a human. He is something like dolphine!! I've never seen such a crazy and funny advert before. I really like the ad, but I don't feel like I want to change my cell phone from docomo which I'm using now to softbank. Anyway there are a couple of different series and it's like a story, so that makes me looking forward to see next new series. So this is the interesting advert and I like.

My Favorite Movie

Well we have free topic this time, so I would like to write about my favorite movie today. Actually I like to watch movies so much so there are a lot of movies I like, but especially I like Sweet Home Alabama. Have you guys watched it before?? It is a good movie. Actually it is not a new movie, but still it's good. The first time I watched it, it was when I was in America. My host mom's friend told me it is a good move and recommended it because she also liked that movie so much, too, so. The first time I watched it without no subtitle, so sometimes I couldn't get what they said. But still I remember that the movie moved me. Even after I came back to Japan, I watched the movie several times.
Anyway it is a love comedy. A lady were going out with her boyfriend, but she found another guy who was rich, smart and cute. She promised to get married with him and actually she was going to do. Until she gets married with hime, she had a lot problems between with her ex-boyfriend. But finally she found that who she really loved, that was her ex-boyfriend. So she broke up with her new boyfriend and she got married with her ex-boyfriend. It's not easy to explain how the movie goes and I cannot explain how much the movie is good. So just you better watch the movie. Just what I say is only it is a good movie and I like it.

British Hills

I had a very good time at British Hills. But until we got there, I also had a fun time with my friends in Shinkansen. We played the game which was made by ourself and ate a lot of snacks. I just couldn't stop laughing.
Actually before I went there, I couldn't image how the building looks like and what we would do exactly. But when we got there, I just suprised about everything, like the building, the bed room, restroom and the place we ate lunch and dinner because I haven't been like that place which was like on the TV before.
Anyway there were three things that I really liked the best. First, I liked the time when a teacher told us about what the communication was. He said something like what the important things when we talked with somebody and how we could act when we showed somebody ourself. His talk was very fun and I guess we can do that when we have some interviews. And I also had a good time at the activity. I played snooker. I have played the pool before but I hadn't played snooker, so it was a little bit hard for me to play and get better. But during the activity, I talked with my friends and the lady who taught us how to play it, so I had a fun time. But the most I really liked was the meals. Lunch and dinner and breakfast were so good!! I mean....so good!!
So totaly I had a awsome time with my freinds at British Hills. And when we came back here, I talked with some my freinds that we want to go there sometimes in summer vacation, so I'm looking forward to go there again.

Since I started to come to this University, I 've having so much fun in here with my friends.

I could make a lot of freinds so far. The most of time I don't have classes, I always be in the SALC . I really like to make new freinds, talk with my freinds and a lot of teachers in the yellow sofa. Because I hadn't had time and chance to speak and listen to English at all after I came back to Japan from Ameica. So I'm very proud that I can have time to talk with my friends and teachers in English.

But at the same time while I'm having fun time, I'm also having hard time to understand each classes in this University. Because they are completely different from the classes in H.S. We have a lot of discussions in the each English classes and that is the defference from H.S. But in this class, even I'm having some troubles for understanding English, still I have been able to learn news things. Especially, I was very interested in the class which was when we learned about having a presentation. I learned the body language was a big help to show what you were thinking. And also I liked Getting started in Blogger. I have never used blog before, but now I like it because we can share each one's journal.
So I guess the Orientation Unit was a big help for my English improving. I'd like to try always to do my best no matter what we are going to study about next.

My plans for Golden Week

I'm excited about Golden Week. But actually I haven't made any special plans for Golden Week yet.
...oh! but I have some plans. I'm going to go to Chiba with my friends in my class to go shopping. I love shopping so I'm very excited about that. The only one thing that I don't like is always when I go shopping, I spend a lot of money. So, on this Golden Week, I will just try to not spend my money so much. Just hope to have a fun time with them.
Other my plan is a part time job. I know that sounds not fun, but sometimes we have to do even it's a boring stuff.
Anyway hope you guys to have a good Golden Week, too.

my past experiences learning english

I started learning English when I was 13years old, so I had studied English for 6years in junior H.S and high school. When I was small, I went to Hawaii with my family and that was why and when I started having interest in foreign countries and foreign languages. Also when I was a junior H.S student, my family hosted an exchange student from America. Almost at that time, I started studying English very hard because of her. But in both of junior H.S and high school, we studied English just reading textbooks and writing dowm what the teachers wrote on the blackboard. I mean those were very boring and I wanted to speak English more and very well.
Then so I decided to be an exchange student for one year. I stayed in America as an exchange student and learned English for one year. In over there, I learned English in completely defferent ways from Japan. Of course I had to speak only English every day all the time. No matter when, no matter what, I just had to speak only English and listened to what people said in English, so I think that was a big reason why I can speak and understand English now. My English is not good enough yet though. Actually I had a lot of hard time in over there, but I could make a lot of awsome friends and I had VERY VERY great time in Ameica, I could learn English with having a fun time.
Even after I came back to Japan, I hadn't had time to speak English as much as I used to, but I tried to listen to music and watch movies in English and speak English as much as I can. And now I am in Kanda University and studying English hard.
Well these are pretty much all about my past experiences learning English.
